free new file from ebsco: GreenFILE

Hi everyone,

EBSCO has given us free access to something new called GreenFILE (http://rdl.lib.uconn.edu/databases/1546;go). Here's what EBSCO says about it, in comparison to Academic Search Premier:

"GreenFILE is more closely related to our Environment Index (and its full text counterpart, Environment Complete) than to any other database we offer. A quarter of the journals found in Environment Index are included in GreenFILE, though the latter does contain plenty of content unique to itself. The Environment line of databases consider the human impact on the environment - presented primarily through scholarly research. GreenFILE is designed to be more accessible, and its content used for practical, personal reasons - not just academic ones."

The ERM description is "Articles on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and recycling. Draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology."
