various problems with VPN

We've received reports of various problems with the VPN -- most of which involve opening pdfs while logged into the VPN (tho' some are different). We reported the problem to UITS last week and have so far received no response.

If you hear of specific problems -- with citations / examples please! -- report them to ELibrary and we will do what we can to help.

We'll follow up with them early next week.
