2 known EZP problems

Hi,

There are 2 relatively minor, we think, problems with EZP that you may encounter.

1. E-mails users send themselves from Homer have a limit on the number of characters per line that results in hyperlinks that are broken into multiple lines. For example:
http://ezproxy.lib.uconn.edu/login?url=http://www.netLibrar
y.com/urlapi.asp?action=summary&v=1&bookid=219246

This is not really an EZP specific problem, but a problem for any URL of a certain length. It is a problem known to the Voyager people and Janice is looking into a fix.

2. SFX links in RefWorks’ Refshare feature are not proxied. This will be fixed when we turn on proxying in SFX.

We’re putting posts like these here:

for future reference.
Thanks –Nicholas
