Reply from the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM):

Nicholas Eshelman,

Thank you for your feedback.

We are aware of the problem with Firefox-linking through library icons.

We are working vigorously to resolve the problem. In the meantime, please use Internet Explorer. All library links are functional in Internet Explorer.

This problem is also being reported by Safari users. We realize that we cannot refer Mac users to IE, but these users can try using the Opera browser.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to report that UConnLinks is not working well in PubMed. In FireFox, the UConnLinks button appears to be unclickable. PubMed suggests using Internet Explorer instead, where it seems to work better. Apparently if you click on the very tippy top of the UConnLinks icon in PubMed, the link will work and the SFX menu will display.

The publisher link does not display in either FireFox or Internet Explorer.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Remember that we do have access to Medline through EBSCO, where the UConnLinks button is functional.

stephanie
