electronic resource changes for the new fiscal year

Here are some changes to familiar databases for the new fiscal year:

Photos from the Associated Press 50 million image print and negative library. Includes photos from the past hour. Some audio and graphic files included. 1840s-current. It's an *amazing* resource!! this is available through iCONN).

Gale's Literature Resource Center has a new interface.
It contains “Biographical essays on more than 100,000 authors and criticism and interpretation of plays, novels, poetry and short stories.”

As you may have heard, WestLaw Campus now includes hundreds of news sources.
A search note: the default operator is OR, so if you search for Tim Russert, you will find articles which contain the word Tim *or* the word Russert. The sales rep suggests that a workaround is to use quotes around phrases; "Tim Russert" works as you might expect. (this is available through iCONN).

We now have CINAHL full-text through iCONN.
